ZappIR Universal Remote

ZappIR Technology is based in the city of Vancouver, located in beautiful British Columbia, Canada.  While the city is known for its beautiful mountains, and pristine coastline, it is also known as a  hotbed of high technology companies with young, intelligent and enterprising mobile app developers.  This is the setting or birthplace of ZappIR Technology.

The introduction of a built-in IR blaster also called IR transmitter in high end smartphones such as the Samsung S4, S5, S6, the HTC One, and the LG G3 gave rise to the ZappIR universal remote app now available on Google Play Store. 

While these smartphones come with a basic remote app, they have limited functions and capabilities.  Using the built-in IR blaster of these smartphones, the ZappIR remote app converts them into powerful universal remotes. 

In addition to supporting smartphones, the ZappIR remote also works with Android tablets with built-in IR blaster such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, 3, 4, Galaxy Pro, Note 3, 4, 8,10.
